The Lodge is located in a beautiful natural setting, with thick vegetation next to a stream, surrounded by various animals that are cared for by the owners, hiking trails, and a great idyllic setting to relax and unwind. It is an old mill restored with taste and skill, with stone walls, wooden ceilings, and large windows of the time, so it oozes charm, as well as its outdoor pool, which, by the weather, we had no opportunity to try. When we arrived, the lady, who attended us kindly, offered us at no cost a room of superior category, more spacious, and that was cared for, well equipped, clean, and decorated with care in line with the building. There is also a restaurant, which is not managed by the accommodation itself, and which, from what we were told, is quite good and busy, so you have to book in advance if you are going to eat there. We did not have the opportunity to visit the area. It is easy to find the place by car and it is not isolated; the village is less than 5 minutes away by car.
Although our stay was pleasant, there were some details such as the room itself being quite cold. lady who attended us provided us with several blankets before we settled in without telling her anything first, this is not a remedy if you are in the room outside the bed, you have to walk with a good coat inside it. I suppose it is because it was not yet winter if it did not fall, they did not have the central heating activated (in winter without heating it must be a very cold place), because the first night we were alone in the whole building, second, there were not many people staying there, it was not pleasant to stay there, if it was not to sleep. Even during the day (not only at night, temperature drops quite a bit in the area). We have stayed in many similar rustic and mountain hotels, it is not usual (although it is evidently cool in autumn-winter this type of accommodation and rooms). As there are no staff left at night in the hotel, you can't go and tell them this. Similarly, lady warned us that the television was working by satellite dish, as the signal does not come through the normal antenna, we could not expect the same features of a normal television. in the room there were very few channels, practically none of the usual ones. It is not a problem at all, you will not be able to watch the same news from Tve Española or similar channels if you are interested, after spending the day in the street. There is a TV in a very nice common area in terms of distribution and decoration, we didn't use it because we didn't want to disturb other customers who were there at night. Improving these two aspects (the thing of the television is almost anecdotal, air conditioning of the room yes we considered it important), to our understanding, it would be an accommodation, as we have read in other comments, to give him a very high general qualification.
